Rumours around town
« on: September 26, 2009, 07:44:04 am »
Was a local mechanic getting the oil change in the truck yesterday
In the are there is 4 GM dealers, and two are closing
He was saying one dealer is going Mazda and other Hydunia
Then last night in the local free paper is an add that a new dealership is opening and it is #4 on JD Powers list

Also about a year ago the Ford dealer got a new building, and the old one was up for lease
It appear now the lease sign is down , people have been painting and parking lot has been sprayed black
They say people are not buying cars, but I see a lot of vehicles with new plates

The GM dealer in Port Hope at Hwy 28 had it signs go down today, and Hyundai sign going up www.lauria.ca , their website still has it as a GM dealer
They had a ton cars on the lot
Wonder what will happen to the GM cars they have? Can they still do warranty work on GMs
