I can't do anything official until oct 15th but because of the revolution of people trying be martyr and saving the forum I must speak up.

1010tires is the new sponsor of the forum as of Oct 15th until then please be patient and calm.

Why?  He deserved/deserves it.  I'm hoping for some good advice, given by real tire professionals and which is not fueled by $$ and any other consideration than a good deed.

lolz, yeah just like TT has been doing for you here since last October. I have provided more information and answers than the forum sponsor in the last year. And for no $$ gain to me.

I formally oppose 1010 moderating these boards. In every other auto related forum, moderators are well respected members of the community who's only job is to provide a good conversational environment WITHOUT BIAS. The only reason 1010 is coming in here is to quash all the negative comments about them, they do not have our best interests in heart only their bottom line.

We are working hard to bring a better and more knowledge and active sponsor to our Forums.  1010 has stepped up lease give them a chance.

Moderation by deleting / complete bias won't be tolerated either it is a balance.  Mostly the sponsor is here to answer questions and provide deals / contests etc.  Don't worry about the forum moderation the current moderators will still be able to deal with garbage as required.

What is to say this will be any different?

It is definately in 1010's best interest to be professional and offer helpful, unbiased advice. I would reserve judgement for when the proper usernames are up and the people you know work for the company are posting.
