Dirty as I had to drive it home well over 100 km. What a great little car for that price.

Cool car and it changes colours. Congrats!

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

The camera I used sucked as well (7 year old digital). Not all of us have Bob's equipment (or even passable facsimiles) at our disposal. Tongue

Not too many white Astras out there, looks sharp. The manual is one hellava lot more entertaining to drive than the auto. Hope it serves you well.

Congrats.  Pink is a good colour for a sales vehicle.  It'll get you noticed.   Cheesy

BTW, there is a Service Notice: CCD Image Sensor Advisory on the Canon Powershot A80 camera.  (Not sure if that's your camera.)

http://www.canon.ca/english/index-customersupport.asp

Malfunction:
It has been confirmed that the connecting parts of the internal wiring of the CCD used in affected products may become disconnected, especially if the affected products are stored or used in high-temperature and high-humidity environments. If this occurs, the signal is not output from the CCD normally in Shooting Mode, which may cause a distorted image or the absence of an image. This malfunction can be confirmed on the LCD monitor screen during shooting. The same malfunction also appears on the recorded image.

Canon's Response:
Effective immediately, and regardless of warranty status, Canon will repair, free of charge, the products listed above exhibiting the above-mentioned malfunction if Canon determines that the malfunction is caused by the CCD image sensor.

Canadian residents are kindly directed to contact the Canon Customer Information Centre for further assistance at 1-800-OK CANON. Support hours are Monday thru Friday - 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (EST). Alternatively, if electronic support is preferred, please send your email using the Contact Us tab above. Please provide us with the camera's serial number or have it ready if contacting us by phone. Serial numbers are typically numeric and 10 digits in length.

Looks Great. Maybe I should call the Saturn dealer in Regina. This would solve my car problem for my daughter.

Aren't you worried about servicing going into the future?

That said, I like them, too  Grin

Great feel and handling, the power is suckage. The car is set up really really well and "feels" very substantial compared to my Saab 92x.
Excellent highway cruising and cornering, just don't expect to drop it into second and rocket from the apex of a curve. Amazing value for the money.

No, It's not like we'll have this car for ten years. 5 years max and we will have well over 300,000 kms on it. After that point our experience it that cars get a little dicey on reliability.
