Looks a bit fugly... I think it's the way the roof wraps down that kills it for me. But it might just be the angle of the photo... Really, though, I don't understand the point. I'd buy a Mini for the retro looks and sweet handling. I wouldn't buy one if it looked like this. And the regular Cooper is already a small, two-door car... all this coupe offers is less elegant sheet metal. |

I originally thought it was awkward looking but the more I see it, the more it grows on me.
Not sure what the advantages are over a regular Cooper. It has less versatility and more controversial looks... |

It's a "concept," but it has a production interior, a realistic exterior, and it appears to share mechanicals with the current Cooper JCW, so I'm betting it'll be a production model next year. Thoughts? Full press release and gallery at Autoblog |

Yes pretty nice. I'm not sure what the benefits are making a Mini even more cramped. Apart from style. |

The white roof and the styling at the B pillar reminds me of a bad toupe on a balding guy. |

Merging this with the thread started by Marc_ in the General section, which really belongs in the Industry News section. |

Agree - it is slightly ugly, but aside from that, not sure why MINI needs this particular car? Can't see buying this over the regular MINI or the Clubman. I recall that MINI has also talked about bringing out a "ute"-type thingy. Don't need that, either. |
