Whoa - chill peeps. The master plan as decreed by GM to the Obamaites called for four divisions deleting Pontiac. GMC was being kept although I can't recall anything specific saying they would be the only trucks offered. Equinox & Terrain were underway when they filed so maybe too late to stop.
With the dealer network pared down to a GM shop, the plan, I thought, was to have Caddy, Buick Chevy and GMC with Chevy offering entry level cars and then Buick the near luxury. Chevy would be cars leaving GMC to do the truckie thing. That to me makes sense, like GM notices or even cares.

Personally I'm glad they dropped the Buick Vue - it was too porcine to begin with.
