(Un?)-fortunately, the "Glide" car wash systems are only in Ontario, according to the map. Sad   As a result, it looks like I won't be trying them out for size (quite literally given the height of my vehicle) anytime soon.

Until then, I have my choice of a few hand car wash places to use.

Finally had time to take the car in for some estimates.

The first place I took it to today the estimate was for $3400.00 and they need it for two weeks! Shocked

Needless to say, I'm speachless.

Going out this afternoon for a couple more estimates.

Just curious with one you used. Mississauga Road and 407?

You got lucky the whole head office was nearby.

How much time does estimate #2 and #3 require to hang on to your car?

OUCH.  At least they're going to cover it for you.  That's a nice set of wheels you've got.

I dropped the RX-8 off at the body shop this AM. I suspect that they will have it the better part of two weeks. In the mean time, I have a new traveling companion.
A Mitsubishi Outlander ES powered by a 4 cylinder with AWD.

How's the Outlander?   You can have a Mitsu meet with Bob.   It would be outlandish.   Cheesy
