2009 Honda Civic Hybrid

2009 Honda Civic HybridNow in its fourth year since a major redesign, the Civic Hybrid falls slightly behind newer hybrids like the Honda Insight, but it still offers a good combination of comfort and fuel efficiency, says Contributing Editor Chris Chase.

We have one as a part of our company's fleet and I must say it's not worth the price. It's a nice car indeed, but 350 bucks more and you get a Prius which is much mor refined more frugal with gas, not to mention more practical.

Chris's points on performance are bang on, it takes getting use to the lack of power, especially when merging onto the highway. What are the advantages of this car over the Insight other than perhaps a bit more leg room? Fit and finish maybe?
