Sounds like he was being careful... keeping it down the the HR tire limit... or speed limited by the car itself.    A lot of cars are limited to  130mph/210 kph  in NA  for some reason even if the OE tires are VR. My 330 was although the EU version was not ( that was rev and aero limited to 155mph/250 kph).

The Mitsu EVO is one the cars I really like and want. I can look pass the econo interior for its performance. Truly a blast a drive.

I think the complaints in this article, while valid, are the sort of things one compromises on in order to own such a fantastic performance machine. You can't have your cake and eat it too!

That said, I've always preferred the STI package over the EVO, and I think with the current generation the Subaru would still be my first choice. Smiley

I Agree

Plus those compromises in the EVO X are much easier to accept when there's a more mass-market-friendly Lancer Ralliart in the showrooms next to it.
