First Drive:
2010 Porsche Panamera

2010 Porsche PanameraWith room for four adults and a rear hatch for easy access to its roomy cargo area, the 2010 Porsche Panamera "brings four-door sedan practicality to a brand known almost exclusively for high-performance sports cars," says Senior Editor, Paul Williams.

That brown colour looks terrible in the photos, but the black one looks staggeringly good. And it sounds like Porsche simply crammed a 911 into a four-door hatchback body, instead of building a compromised sedan. Thumbs up

The 7-series, S-class, and S8 have got nothing on the Porsche. The Quattroporte, maybe...

I was always fearful that this would look horrific but I actually don't mind the exterior at all.

I'm sure everything else has been taken care of.

The Rapide is stunning, too. I presume it will be a little cushier and less sporting than the Porsche, so to each their own. Of course, if it ever comes to fruition, I think the Lamborghini Estoque would be my choice:

I'd rather have a 928.

In some photos, from some angles, it just looks.... wrong.  But I have seen it in a couple videos and it seems to look terrific to me in motion.  I'll have to reserve judgment until I see one in the fleh.  This may be one of those vehicles that just isn't very photogenic.  But the interior looks fantastic.

I didn't like the back end of the car when the first pictures leaked out but it grew on me I guess.  I don't think the design is beautiful but it wouldn't stop me from purchasing one (in my dreams  Grin).  From the reviews I've read, the Panamera is a wonderful car to drive and it looks much better in person.
