I have had my eye on the 09 TSX for a while but didn't want to get it in Canada because of the major price differences and have decided that if I were to get one, I'd probably get it from Seattle or Oregon.
I have a few concerns though:
1. What are the procedures that I have to go through to get it imported?
2. How can i or should i alter the odometer?
3. Will the resell value decrease as it would be an imported vehicle?
4. The price difference is only about $3500 (with leather over cloth seats also)before shipping and all the extras, is it even worth it?

$3500 before shipping? Wat will shipping cost $500 maybe?

That's like a 7$ difference. To me that wouldn't be enough to make getting any modificatipons done, certifications, papaerwork etc. Yes it will effect the resale value (how much is another story ).

Were you aware of this?

Chrysler, Acura-Honda and Mazda do not transfer their US warranties over to Canada if the owner moves, so the owner would need to drive to the US in order to repair his/her vehicle.

Are you going to be able to drive back to the US for warranty work?If not saving 7% but losing the warranty is shaving things down pretty close to even.

Not at all worth it for $3500.

Its built in Japan...duties will run 5 or 7% alone (don't remember the exact number).
