I organised a shoot with this amazing NSX this weekend! I can't describe how much of a nice bloke Rick (the owner) is, he went out of his way to prep the car on time, to give up hours of his and a friend's time into the night to get the shoot done, helped with the set ups and even gave me a quick drive (for which I am eternally grateful). Some supercar owners can be funny about people going near their prized possessions, Rick was the exact opposite, generous, funny and kind, seriously top guy. Jeff also helped out and directed too, thanks again Jeff! After looking at a few NSX's to shoot, this one easily came out tops. Just the right model, in the right colour, with the pop-up headlights. Plus it's in perfect condition and very tastefully modified. I love it! Enjoy! P.S. I obviously have loads more shots to come, but I need some sleep. More later in the week.

Very nice work, Mr. Smith. Look forward to see more. You don't really need sleep, do you? |

My old man used to have the same car (well, not the Targa, but otherwise). Just a beautiful machine... I still miss it. Great shots, as usual, Rob. All that last one needs is a pageful of text and it could be in a magazine advertisement. |

Beautiful shots. The NSX was always what I thought a sports car should be. |

What's the signature and what are the general mods? No hurry ... just curious. Great pictures! |

Bridge, it was the "Oakville shoot" but not in Oakville. We found a better place to shoot (which shall remain nameless). It's a '96 NSX-T. ~85k on it. Mods (if I can remember them correctly)... *18" front, 19" rear wheels (sorry, didn't recognize/ remember the brand) *lowered (again, didn't get the suspension specs, but this baby is LOW) *HKS exhaust *$6k sound system *Momo steering wheel and aluminum shift knob *A few tasteful custom visual things like the "NSX" logos on the headrests and the Senna signature decals Like Rob said, it's gotta be the nicest NSX I"ve seen -- absolutely perfect for photographing. If I were to live with it, I"d probably choose minus-1 size wheels/tires though since I'd always be worried about bending a rim... and it's VERY low -- speedbumps? ha! Definitely thumbs up to the very enthusiastic and patient owner allowing Rob to take all the time he needed to shoot a lot of different set ups. We were both so pumped after the shoot. A few pics of my own to show some "behind the scenes..." |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

Thanks everyone, will try to get to the rest of them in the next couple of days. Good memory Jeff, I had forgotten most of that stuff! And great set up shots too! |

Well, Rob, you'll recall that was my job to pay attention to the details -- charm and distract the owner while you take off in the car. |
