IIRC similar products have been on the market for a while.  The goop adds a fair amount of unsprung weight though and also, IIRC, has been known to cause balancing issues in certain applications.  I'd rather spring (pardon the pun) for a proper run-flat tire system.  There are probably a number of good reasons why such seemingly obvious solutions such as NoFlat (http://www.noflat.com/) haven't caught on.  Hmmm...that looks like those pails you buy driveway sealer in.....

I had something similar added to my tires when I bought my car.  It basically pools on the bottom of the tire when the car is parked and spreads when the tire rotates.  It did cause some balance issues every now and then if I accelerated too fast to highway speed and it didn't spread out evenly inside the tire.  I would get vibrations.  I never noticed any flats or air leaks during the time when I had the product in my tires.

I think it has its uses for low speed applications in an environment where punctures are frequent like a construction work site.   Not so good if you do a lot of high speed highway driving.
