New Krown Product for Removing Salt
« on: July 01, 2009, 07:37:21 am »
Just want to let everyone know about a new product from Krown called "MR35" it actually disolves the chemical that is responsible for the salt binding to the steel or to anything for that matter. How often have you washed something only to find that after it dries, it goes back to being white?

We have been using "MR35" here at the shop as part of a pre Krown application... we use a foam gun (the ones hooked up to an air supply) to shampoo the underside, with great results.

We have also been using it to remove nasty salt stain in carpets and mats, we let it sit for a few minutes, and work it with a brush, works like a charm! For some of the heavier salt stains...such as people that NEVER NEVER clean their mats and end up with a 1" salt chunk it requires some soaking and extra time...depending on the condition of the carpet the results are great.

Price is great atm it is only sold in the 20 litres, however Im sure if you walked into a Krown dealer and asked for a litre, something can be worked out.

krown.com/#products/krownkleen...the link...sorry I could not create a URL...won't let me till I have 10 posts under my belt :(

As a side note Cliff, you should have prepared your post as more of a 'product review'.

The fact that the product is only available to commercial clients/distributors (i.e. Krown dealers) may be an area for concern (for advertising it to consumers I mean). The reason I say this is for the purposes of regular consumers purchasing it when it was intended to be used by presumably trained individuals within Krown stores, etc. I just wouldn't want to see regular consumers purchasing 'industrial/commercial' products and applying/using them incorrectly and damaging vehicle surfaces, etc.

Ah I see, good point!...but thankfully the products is fairly simply, no more complicated then many of the products that can be bought at Crappy Tire even though we use a $700.00 foamer...it can also be used with one of those guns that hold product and use a garden hose...and as far as the mats with salt...a simply squirt bottle is awesome...Salt Eliminator has a PH of 8 to 9 the same as rain...pretty harmless
