What you want is a good, solid Hercules tire.  I cannot recommend the required inflation pressure, however.  :(

 ;D

181k on the original tires?  Really?

Michelin LTX M&S is $199.00

Wow, almost 200k on the original tires?  Geez that's a LONG time.

LTX is a good tire!

I would like to see a photo of the tread before you replace 'em.  Must be like hockey pucks at this point.

I wish.  Basically all we get is employee discount coupons. You make your best price and then send in the coupons for a rebate.  Varies from $15 to $30 per tire.
If you show up at the Shannonville skidpad on Sunday I can give you some coupons ;D

Oh yeah, we probably make that size right here too.

Take the tires off the rims, keep driving.  Sparks at night is cool.
No place I'd rather be...

I'd like to suggest HERCULES G5000Z 215/40ZR17 ;D ;D ;D

The only question then is ....what tire pressure should you use?
My first ever GM ownership experience  can best be described as   "Fool me once...."

I checked with 10 tire dealers, they all say 35 psi, but I still don't know what the right pressure is.
Suck, squeeze, bang, blow - who wouldn't love the internal combustion engine?  ;D

What's the thread depth left on them?   Just keep driving them until you're down to the rims.   :)
