My new-ish Mustang Convertible
« on: June 10, 2009, 08:23:56 pm »
Just picked it up tonight, 2008 V6 Convertible "Deluxe".  I guess calling a base model "deluxe" makes folks feel special!  Black on graphite interior with black top.  We were planning on surviving with one car but I ended up getting a new job so that lasted for just about a month.  Figured since my commute is now twice as far there's nothing more practical than a 4.0 litre mustang!

I guess you won't have problems with hair blowing in your face with the top down.  Happy commuting.  :)

Oh yeah.....congrats!

Really impressed with Gorruds.  The whole deal (including paperwork) took about an hour including doing the deal and all paperwork when picking up the car and they were all really friendly to deal with.

@aquadorhj: I would have preferred manual but was surprised to see how hard they are to find!  This one was a US import vehicle and the price was a steal so I'm not complaining!  Coming from a Toyota Solara, there is no comparison, the Stang smokes it in every way imaginable, save, interior quality and quietness.  Even the V6 has a nice rumble to it!

@Saf
That reminds me of a Fred Sanford line..
"What do you need a convertible for? If she wants the wind to blow through her hair, tell her to take her wig off and hang it out the window."
Great episode.
