Nice bike.
In a world where the dead are returning to life, the word "trouble" loses much of its meaning.

I don't see why a factory-supercharged Boost King with a supercharged 1300cc engine would be that much crazier than, say, the second-generation VMAX with a 1700cc V4.

Ummm....the new VMAX isn't crazier than the stock (non-supercharged) B-King.  It only makes about 10 more HP and 10 more TQ. That's it!  It's actually slowerthan the B-King.  Why?  The B-King weigh 578lbs full.  The VMAX weighs a staggering 700lbs full.  With only a few ponies more, but 122lbs extra pounds to push around, the VAMX fails.

FWIW, the concept B-King (Boost King) was turbocharged and made 250HP with minimal boost!  That's significantly more than ANY streetbike available.
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Turbo-charged?? Supercharged?? I read that NASA is retiring the Space Shuttle. Are you talking about a replacement for it. If you build a ramp, you could use these to visit the Space Station...

Can you imagine the misery of trying to stick to a decent speed, lets say less than double the posted limit with such beasts? My 145 hp FJR1300 was unhappy at anything less than 150Kph. Stable as a rock at 240. :)

That's why I moved to a smaller bike. Perfectly happy at 120. Don't even need to slow down for off-ramps..

But the people like you and me who are content with a midsizer aren't the ones who anything like the B-King and VMAX are aimed at.  For those who are into drag-bike insanity, why not go all the way?  Every other genre of bikes does.  Goldwing is a tourer carried to its absurd conclusion; Desmosedici is a sportbike carried to its absurd conclusion; R1200GS Adventure is the adventure-tourer carried to its absurd conclusion; Ural is the retro-bike carried to its absurd conclusion; etc.

Agreed.

Facking gorgeous bike. I just find the rear a bit too busy.
