Hyundai Auto Canada has jumped from worst to first among top websites for car shoppers, according to a leading industry research agency.
J.D. Power and Associates said yesterday Hyundai posted the best scores among 19 auto brands in satisfying shoppers who use manufacturer websites.
A survey last month of more than 2,100 shoppers who plan to buy a vehicle in the next year, showed Hyundai performed particularly well in speed for loading pages, ease in navigation and overall appearance.
Hyundai, which finished last in the survey's rankings in 2008, completely redesigned its website in the second half of the year.
Respondents ranked the websites of Toyota, Mazda, Volvo and Volkswagen as the next best in the industry. Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Subaru and Mercedes-Benz finished at the bottom of the rankings, the survey indicated.
