Finally figured a place where hopefully uploaded photos can be linked to and show up. I traded the 2004 Accord Coupe for.....torque and more luxury, which is a delightful feeling  Grin It took 4 months to locate the right one in terms of condition and price that also had all the major option packages. During which time I also looked at buying different new cars but discarded that idea, even with the discounts available. I didn't mind, and in fact looked for, higher than average mileage (this one has 93,000 kms), just beyond warranty etc. because I don't put on many kms myself. and the APR 4 stage chip was going in  Wink

The feeling of major torque in day to day driving can't be over recommended! I call it fun within the limits, in other words in 99% of my day to day driving, high RPM torque and power is meaningless because I'm "not there". Anyway, I have been a passenger on tracks in Quattros before but never in the wet, and had never driven one quickly. Its amazing and there is no need for traction control to be in these cars. Its especially noticeable in the wet exiting corners, even at modest speed. Other than that, I was surprised the ride is better despite having the sports suspension package.

Now lets see if these pics work:

Sorry about the pics, guys. I've tried many different ways including their instructions where they say imbedded images will work, but can't make it happen as an image appearing here. I don't know how the rest of you do it. I even looked at source code on pages where it worked!

Have to wait until either the Reader's Rides gets re-activated here, or I can find another free image site that allows a hotlink easily. In the meantime, you can open them by clicking on the image code for each of the 4 pics below.

Thanks rrocket! Here they are. Nearly... On a computer using a lower screen resolution (1024x768), I notice the right side of the pic is cut off despite it being 800 pixels wide? However right clicking on the pic and choosing "view image" shows the whole thing? Getting tiring...:

Nice car.  Thumbs up

Your original images work just fine, you just used the incorrect tags.  You have to use the forum's IMG tag rather than HTML.  Usage is as follows:
[ img ] URL of image [ /img ] (take out the spaces)

Thanks guys. I got the APR at the beginning of April from H2Sport. Currently I have it on the 93 octane setting, which according to APR gives 292 ft. lbs. of torque. In a while, I'll switch to the 91 octane setting that gives 273 ft. lbs. torque, if gas prices go way up. No rush to do that!

In terms of mileage, my one try at measurement was 32 MPG (Canadian gallons) mostly highway (8.8 l/100 km), and I was definitely not being easy with the "loud pedal" as I was demonstrating torque to a friend  Wink . Upper 30's should be very easy to attain with normal cruising. Our Jetta with DSG that has the same motor gets 40 MPG highway (7 l/100 km).

I must say nice choice of car and colour!  Wink

Edit, if you want to clean those exhaust tips use something called "never dull" works like a charm! Canadian tire should have it.

And while you're at CT pick yourself up some CT Heavy-Duty Hand Cleaner for use after using Never Dull on those pipes! Grin
