I agree the Fit will be good on fuel economy and resale value, however I have driven this car (rented) and drove my GF's car (she bought one 4 weeks ago) and I personally did not like it.  Chicky/girly looking car, underpowered, slow acceleration (especially with an automatic), uncomfortable seats and the A/C wasn't powerful enough. We've had a '96, '97, 2000 Civics and currently a 2005 is being used by my father and an '03 Celica, I never liked them (performance or styling). The only good thing was fuel economy. I wouldn't go so far as to stating they are better on reliability as that is a personal thing (depends how the car is treated, driven and if maintained properly).

Our family used to have a 1966 GM Beaumont which was passed down to me (over 1,000,000 MILES, not KM's) and then we sold it. That is an example of reliable.  I guess I prefer domestic cars.

To each their own. Everyone has their own preference. That's why one automaker doesn't have 100% of the market.

Hope you enjoy your purchase.

The Show 'n Shine section is for people to who are excited about showing off their cars, new or otherwise, and to get encouragement or kudos from everyone else.  It's a happy-happy area where everyone farts sunshine and burps rainbows.  Basically, if you can't say something positive, STFU.

Thank you for your future cooperation on this.

God you're hot when you're angry.   ;)

And much-belated congrats on the great new car, Demo.

Wow, if that's being nice, I wonder what your anger is like.  ;D Sounds hot.

Ok, I guess I put it in the wrong forum, don't get in a knot over it.

I'll put it this way then, congratulations on the purchase and enjoy the car. Especially during the summer gas rip-off.
