Supra pics from this past weekend...
« on: April 13, 2009, 05:47:10 pm »
It was nice enough to take a couple of pics this past weekend.  Apologies in advance to our resident Photography Pros on the forum for my (poor) pics...   :'(

You can really see how the colour looks graphite in direct sunlight, but rather dark when not in the sun...

I'm hopeful I can meet up with JustBob over the summer so I can get some "real" pictures of my car done.. ;D

How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Normally I'd agree with your sentiments about giant wings on cars... BUT... since the factory saw fit to add it to the car, I think it suits the Supra just fine.

I'm not real fond of it either to be honest. But it's factory..and is actually functional.  88 lbs. of downforce at 100+MPH.  What's kinda neat about it is you can't see it from inside when you are driving..it does not obscure your view.  And when you're behind the car, the spoiler follows the contours of the pillars and roof, and from looking dead behind the car you can't see the spoiler.  I'll try to get a pic to show you what I mean...

SWEET.

Now you need to "needforspeedize" the car, starting with a new picnic... I mean rear spoiler, some ghetto drawings on the side and of course, the neon underneath, eheheheh.

starting with a new picnic... I mean rear spoiler,

TRD actually produced a rear spoiler that was used in the JGTC series and is readily available in either fiberglass or full carbon.  Personally, I don't really like it....it's much more square...Kinda looks like a new GT-R spoiler a bit...
