IMO its high to me...I have no idea how the front tires passed safety. Rear tires are new though.

SO, I guess hes not an experienced bargainer. Its funny how her brother (my age, soon to be 20) drives a 05' Corolla and I drive a Protege5, which are both auto. We both suck at manual, especially with her coupe. She puts us to shame.
Yikes, that is A LOT of car for an 18 year old. Especially if she's short as you sit low in the coupe and rear visibility is lacking. I wonder what her dad was thinking.
Also you're right, it's a difficult manual to drive. Night and day from my P5. The flywheel is light so it takes some careful balancing to get a smooth launch.
