Troops.
Just signed a deal on a vehicle I have allways wanted. I have been ridgeline shopping since they came out & finally got a killer deal. Bought the 09 VP version in dark cherry pearl. Honda has $4500 discount right now with a stackable $1500 for owning a competitors truck. I have a Highlander & somehow it qualifies.
Anyway; i basically got what i paid for the Highlander 11 months ago & trade price came right off the discounted rebate price.(US sport model) My credit union has 4% car loans.
The stars were in perfect alignment on this deal.
Should be great for pulling my sleds & boat. I pick it up Tuesday. I drive 60-70,000 km,s a year so we will see how this thing shakes out.

Very nice. A colleague of mine has a black cherry colour Ridgeline. Loves it. Traded in a yellow 2006 (?) Subaru WRX for it. He especially likes the extra ground clearance in the winter for getting into and out of the country lane where he lives in rural Saskatchewan.

Very strange looking but quite an appealing vehicle. I like the updated front for 2009MY (quad looking fog lights, etc), and noticed the local dealer had the $1,500 conquest stickers on the side of theirs but says for 'domestic truck owners'.

Very comfortable vehicle to sit in, lots of room, and good versatility.

Talked my old man into a Ridgeline this past summer. He absolutely loves his - he traded his Dakota against it, and loves the ride quality compared to the Dodge. Wonderful truck, incredibly spacious inside and the in-bed truck and dual-action tailgate are just brilliant features.

I think the Ridgeline would be my first choice if I ever needed something with a bed...

I had 4 saturn vue,s with that engine. Anyway; picked up the ridge today & saw 23 mpg coming home at 110 kmh on the hiway.pushing a head wind 1/2 the way. dealer was 140 miles away plus i had to go an extra 160 miles on a biz call.
