Which cars use 215/55R16?

Why?  One usually picks the tire size depending on the vehicle, rather than the other way around.

No particular reason.  I am installing plus-one tires on my car (from 215/60R15 to 215/55R16) but of all the tire stores I've talked to they say that's an odd size that they don't stock and that they will have to special order. 

So then I started to wonder if there are any cars out there that use 215/55R16 as OEM.

My 2000 Maxima SE had 215/55/R16s , 2001s might have them too although most have 17"s. Also I believe Saab's have this size and perhaps some Grand AMs but don't quote me on that.

Based on used tire ads I have seen I think maybe the Mazda used this size.

Just go 225 50 16 its only 1.2% difference. Well within spec . More common size. General Exclaim UHP in that size is on sale 117 at Can Tire.

Volkswagen EOS uses 215/55R16. (Komfort trim level).
