A friend just bought an 07 Fusion, well optioned, for his mother for 15K. The car had less than 35000 km. That seems pretty good to me considering Victoria prices.

Ditto on the Fusion, great deals to be had and it's a nice ride.  GM is offering 24K cash price on G8's right now, that's a heckuva deal for that car!

Found out at the Auto Show that the G8 has 0% financing for 72 months.

yeah, that's a pretty good deal too, I think they exclude the 6500 discount on financing, but they would probably still knock off a whack of cash.

I decided to have a little fun with Ford and priced the Fusion and while I can get a lot of toys that Ford provides and it would still be cheaper than the Civic but the crash test isn't all that great.

I'm seeing new '09 Fusions with leather, auto, moonroof in the paper for $15,9 or 16,9. This because the 2010 is due in the next month?

That's insane! Are Ford hurting that much on high spec Fusions? Guess everyone's buying the basic model.

You sure those aren't for used '09s? The cheapest model that you can get leather on is the 4 cyl SEL. Pricing one out on ford.ca with moonroof and automatic comes to $22074 after the $6500 delivery allowance is deducted. There is approximately $1800 mark-up in a model like that. Taking out the markup still leaves $20,000+. There's no where else for the remaining $3000-$4000 to come from. ???

Yeah, the more I thought about it the more unbelieveable it seemed to be, although specifically remember they claimed 'brand new'. It put the Fusion only $1,000 over their advertised price for an '09 Focus with leather and moonroof. Glanced at the paper again today but the ad wasn't in there. So I can't answer the question but if I see the ad again will read all the fine print.

The Buick is too expensive. If I were to stay close to the Ciera it would be the Accord but since I'm the only one working the Civic will have to do.
