Historical note Squishy.  The original 1975 Mobil One 5w-20 definitely was not compatible with a lot of engine seals used at that time and not all that compatible with dino oils  but then of course dino oils were pretty crude compared to now. 

That's because Mobil1 was actually synthetic.  Most "synthetic" oils today are basically high grade dino oil.  In a US court case years ago the word "synthetic" was declared to be a marketing term referring to properties, not ingredients.

Yup!!!!  It's a bit harder to find a "real" synthetic.  IIRC Mobil 1 is only a Group III synthetic.  A "real" synthetic is Group IV.  The oil I use in my Supra is a Group V :)
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....
