Went to the local mall last night, 3 Chrysler were on display, a Compass, a truck, and a Calibre SRT4. Just walking by and saw the paint and the door gaps, kinda reminds me some of the models cars I own, same quality.

As to the original post, Chrysler just receive a big loan, they will be in business til those cash burn out.

Chrysler will begin discussions with the Canadian Auto Workers union next week on reducing hourly labour costs in Canada, Mr. LaSorda said.

CAW president Ken Lewenza has insisted that moves the union made last year such as reducing vacations show that the organization has done its share. Prime Minister Stephen Harper has said, however, that all stakeholders in Chrysler Canada Inc. and General Motors of Canada Ltd., will be expected to help out in return for the government bailout.

If they aren't dead yet any attempt to  begin discussions with the Canadian Auto Workers union next week on reducing hourly labour costs  should surley finish them off.

So this is the president of Chrysler, and he does not know what the terms are?  Give me a break   

Chrysler president Tom LaSorda said the company hasn't seen the terms the Canadian governments are requesting in return for their loans, but he said he assumes they will be the same as Washington's requirements.
