Thank you, I like the appearance of your machine.  Probably also cools better than the Intel NUCs.

Thanks. :) The total cost was under $300 with 4GB RAM and 64GB SSD and the form factor and the aluminum look sealed the deal for me. So I am very pleased.

Under load it seems to top out around 65deg. The casing is quite warm but you can leave your hand there comfortably. My wife says she would use as a hand warmer in the winter ::)

Watching Netflix on it tonight, temps were more in the mid 50s. Thank you hardware decode. Naturally, everything worked without a hitch.

Another nice thing I discovered, the onboard audio is actually very well electrically insulated from noise. Plugged my headphones in and couldn't hear any hissing whatsoever! Better than a lot of much more expensive stuff I have/had.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

Changed my tires finally, unboxing the new Costco floor jack and the CT impact wrench:

Both worked great

I got a couple of harps in the mail today.

I had to pick up one more Firebreath because they are still being sold at a good price. I picked up an F because it's one of the few keys I don't have. I also picked up a Lee Oskar Low F.

Here's a demo of the Lee Oskar Low F and, if I'm not mistaken, if you let this keep playing, the same song played on the F Firebreath should play next.

Changed the battery in the ISF today.  That took far longer than it should have.  The stupid J-hook bent when I put the battery in then I had to figure out how to straighten the damn thing.  All done.

Better safe than sorry, old battery was originally and 6 years old I don't trust it as my LX's battery failed all of a sudden and took out a $1000 seat computer.

Cool. Did you keep the car powered with some auxiliary power source?
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

I finally changed the cabin filter. It was the filthiest I've seen (for a car less than a year on the road). I'm glad that I got the OEM replacement as the tolerances and build quality are high.

No.  It's a Toyota not a German car.  Unplug battery put in new one.  Done.

I've seen a G35 do weird window things after a battery disconnect...

LX was fine swapping the battery.  It was the dead battery that caused the issues, running it on low voltage off the alternator

Looks good, Dex.  Was there ever a remote controled version of the robot?

It won't win any prizes for accuracy but a company called Trendmasters produced a large (24") radio controlled robot in 1999.
