Looks good.  Do you like the centre-mounted gauge pod?

Well done.. I always liked those Xtrails... they look more rugged and utilitarian than the competitors.  Stick-shift too...

Yes, I do like the centre mount... i know many don't but not sure why... it's really a matter of getting used to it... which takes no time when you actually drive the thing!

its great so far.. will be getting snows tomorrow

I wonder how it does as an off-roader... heard decent things, but I'm not expecting the rubicon

To get an idea of what the X is capable of, check out this site from Australia: http://www.australianxtrail.com.au/.  Seems pretty capable to me  :D

Nice.  We like ours, even though it's an auto :(

Good snows turn it into a beast in the winter.  One other thing - water beads off the windshield faster than any car I've ever driven.  It's great.  I prefer to drive through most rain without using the wipers, it's that good.  Weird compliment, but it's true.

No wax on the windshield.  We use Rain-X wiper fluid, but it did this before we used it as well, and it doesn't make a big difference to the windshield of my TSX.  Maybe other X-Trails don't exhibit this, but ours does.  It's freaky, but I like it.

We take it to T-Lex on Woodbine north of Steeles (Markham).  Nice shop, but tight quarters.  Basil owns the shop and spent years at Don Valley North Toyota.  Seems to know his stuff.  When we lived in the west end, we used to take it (and our other cars) to Nihon Auto just off Dundas St., west of Dixie (Mississauga).

Because we actually do "off-road" stuff, and wanted a small suv, the X-Trail was at the top of our list.  Until the new Grand Vitara showed up with a low range.  I'd say that other than the GV and the Patriot, the XTrail is better off-road than all the other cuv's.

Do you have the LE?  Only the LE had stability/traction control as an option.

Better than an X-Terra?  I still consider the X-terra a CUV....(the X-Terra was Nissan's CUV before the X-Trail hit the market)

Really!
Is not the X-terra built on a truck frame and more rugged then a F-J ( I hear they do not warm up as much as a F-J )

My boss traded in his X trail for a new Rogue. While he loves the Rogue, he misses the X trail's space and functionality.

Very nice vehicle and kudos for getting the manual transmission

I have the SE. The LE did not come in manual.

I am really loving this trucklet! I will post more pics once it clears up here (snowing again)...
