In case you're wondering who supplies CT with their steel rims, here's the site:

http://www.macpek.com/indexeng.html

You can search for the correct multi-fit or OE fit rim part numbers for your car...

Very useful as it shows bolt circles and the exact profile of the stud or bolt.

Does anyone know if Wal-Mart uses them too?  I remember our Wal-Mart steel wheels for the MDX came from a Quebec manufacturer, but do not recall the name.

We got ours from CT this season, and they were on sale. I don't think we could have gotten wheels for any cheaper than that.

Remember, when ordering generic wheels, ask for the bore pattern and size.

Unfortuantely this site dosen't seem to be on anymore as I would like to look up if they carry steel wheels for my 2001 STS in 17" size. Doubt I could even get tires this late in the season as most stores are sold out I believe in the size I need. I like the Michelin brand myself.  Smiley

Would be nice to know the weight of a given rim/wheel for comparison sake.

Actually CTC switched to Palmar in June of 2008 due to MACPEK breaching our contract.

In otherwords, we can no longer user the part numbers from MACPEK when ordering from CT?

Too bad. Palmar doesnt have a website.

They have a single page website, doesn't have product listing.

How can we order from Palmar?

We need a set of steel wheel for winter tires.  The car is 09 Lancer and local dealers (except Mit.) does not have much info on it.  We are in Regina so the dealers are a bit slow.

I incline to downsize it from 16" to 15"

Thanks.

You can't order from Palmar directly because it is a wholesaler. We order about a truckload at a time for Wheel Pro's. 2009 Lancer will be OK to downsize to 15" (except the GTS). Your wheel and tire package will be cheaper and you will have better traction.
