New Top Gear Eppisode (Season 12)

Hello, my first post here...

Just an FYI... new season of Top Gear aired last night and is downloadable (if that's a word!)

Great episode, Porsche GT2, Lamborghini and some Trucks smashing things, very funny.  ;D

They dedicated a lot of time to the trucks.

He didn't test the GT2 a lot. I wonder what the time was for it, around the track?

I was in London (England) for a bit of an extra-long weekend break, and saw this on Sunday night.  On Monday the BBC1 morning show's comments on the morning papers included a number of mentions of the truck stunt.  Clarkson really took quite a nasty jolt.

Watching JC's truck arrive engulfed in flames is now one of my favourite moments in all of Top Gear.  Sooo predictable, and yet, so funny...

I love that capt slow beat him in a race. I knew when I sore the bricks it was getting out of hand. I was surprised how much JC's body was thrown about in the impacted, when the  articulated lorry hit the wall.  ;) :-\ ;D

I was somewhat dissapointed in the episode. I thought they could have done much greater things in the comparo between the GT2 and Lambo. Really, it just turned into a [another] Lambo review.

The truck part was funny, but they essentially spent the entire episode on it - a bit much.

Anyway, looking forward to this week where they're testing the new CTS-V, ZR1, and Challenger.

:iagree:  I love Porsche, but the Gallardo is bar none of the best looking vehicles on the planet right now.  And fast as hell, too!

i have to agree with clarkson.  it's a very quick beetle.    i test drove a cayman S this weekend and that's even uglier.  80k and ugly. ugh!!   this week i am lining up a test of the 135 and the tt 3.2L coupe.

Clarkson has gone thru the 'obstacle" himself, the other 2, I guess Hammond would be a sure bet, have chickened it off to the Stig.

I'm not a Porsche fan at all but think the Cayman S is the best of the bunch! I think it's a great looking car, all it needs it the power of a 911 (which they would never do...)

I do like the new TT though.
