2005 Chrysler 300 front end clunking noise
« on: October 06, 2008, 11:42:03 am »
I have a 2005 300 AWD, and my front end feels really loose whenever I go over a bump or anything like that.  My Chrysler dealer and Midas dealer don't know what's wrong.  They checked the front end and all is nice and tight.  They told me that they see this often with the 300's.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Does anyone know what the fix is?

Thank you,

I would check the front struts to make sure hey are not leaking or have lost all of the oil or gas from within them.  :)

I would try another dealer. The tension struts[lateral control arms] MUST be checked. There can be ZERO movement where the bushing goes into the frame. VERY common problem with the 300. Ball joints, tie rods must be checked.

I'll second the tension struts, we've one for this recently.

Why are you digging up these old threads?  Suspicious that you're a spambot of some sort...
