Has anyone taken the poll?  You can really tell the bias against domestic cars by Canadian Driver readers.

I see no bias I see valid answers to a poll.  Some cars are better than others, heck not many domestics are in the running this year.

Found the poll with the help of the previous posters.... Cheesy Cheesy Voted.

I don't agree with the poster who thinks there is a bias against domestics....read the rules, they define which vehicles are eligible and all others are excluded. It is for "new" or "significantly redesigned" only.

Some of the results really suprised me.  Like Mazda 6 beining most popular midsize,  I though Malibu Hybrdi would be a shoe in.

Corolla is no surprise, I was surprised to see the Maxima win the family car over the G8, and I thought the Challenger would win the Sports car though the BMW 1 series is nice.

Corolla
Vibe (only because I haven't seen the Fit yet)
Mazda6 (Mazda always wins something, Jetta SW TDI runner up but would get my money)
Pontiac G8 (runner up Passat CC)
Hyundai Genesis (Acura TL)
A4 (tough call, may go MKS)
CL (could go any way)
135i (talk about stiff competition)
GT-R (CTS-V)
TTS
Forester (as much as I love Tiguan, and Journey will score value points)
Flex (Traverse or Murano)
Tahoe Hybrid (LX 570 or ML Bluetec)
Ram

Why would they put the Sonata/Magentis in there again when the cars just got a minor refresh.  Would that not mean the refreshed Civic should be there too?  Makes no sense Roll Eyes

Huh, before reading your list, SirA, I did the poll and it's surprising how close our choices were...

Corolla (i agree)
Vibe (only because I haven't seen the Fit yet)  (I agree)
Mazda6 (Mazda always wins something, Jetta SW TDI runner up but would get my money) (I picked the Mzd6 first, then changed my mind to the Jetta)
Pontiac G8 (runner up Passat CC) -- (I agree)
Hyundai Genesis (Acura TL)  -- (I agree on the Genesis)
A4 (tough call, may go MKS)  -- (I agree on the A4)
CL (could go any way)  -- (I chose the SL63)
135i (talk about stiff competition)  -- (I agree)
GT-R (CTS-V) -- (I chose the CTS-V, to be different -- The GT-R seems like the gimme choice)
TTS --(I chose the SLK since it was the only RWD, proper sports car in the offerings)
Forester (as much as I love Tiguan, and Journey will score value points) -- (I agree)
Flex (Traverse or Murano) -- (I chose Murano)
Tahoe Hybrid (LX 570 or ML Bluetec) -- (I got silly and picked the FX50 here... it's just so bad-ass)
Ram
-- (I picked 'neither' here)

The two Performance Car categories were tough choices.  I ended up picking the 135i, since I think it offers the best blend of performance and luxury, and the GT-R, since it's just a staggering accomplishment...  but so many good contenders in both categories!

The %'s come up after each answer and a list of your choices come up at the end.

Biggest surprise for me is the IS-F winning. Not that it's a bad car, but against the CTS-V and GT-R?

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?
