Hi everyone,  currently looking to buy snow tires for my 1995 Honda Prelude.  OEM size is 205/55/15.  I'm currently looking at the LM25's.  They are size 205/45/16, will they work on my 1995 Honda Prelude?  I will be mounting them on steelies.  Thanks a lot.

Fixed. And yes.

205/45/16 woudl be a little small. 205/50/16 would be more acceptable. Then again, Why not stick with OEM size for your snow tires?

I'm currently running 215/45/17 Kuhmo summer tires.  The LM-25 are on sale right now and only available in selected sizes.

Hmm... I'd say your current tires are a smidgen too big as well, cuz they're 3.1% bigger than OEM, while these 205/45/16 are 2.8% too small. Generally speaking, a 3% difference is pretty much the threshold figure, but I always felt you shouldn't get too close to the threshold.

Still think he's fine. The difference is minimal.
