I guess I don't understand why auto cos keep reaching into areas that they know little or nothing about; plus doesn't seem to me to be a great time to intro a new pick-up. Admittedly, it is still a concept and may not see real time.

I am sure I remember a vehicle with the front end of the old split screen VW camper and a euro-style pickup back. Euro-style being one where the bed sides as well as the tailgate folded down. years ago. Later.Checked and not only was there such a beast but it even came in crew cab ! Cannot find a picture.
