Even at $14500 no one ever bit on my car.

So, I have decided to keep it for now and have some work done to her. Here she is sitting in the driveway ready for a cruise:

Some of you may know that my hobby is collecting vintage watches. Like the Chevelle, the watch on my wrist is a second owner item as well. In this case it is a 1969 Seiko 6105-8000 diver that has been restored.

I am replacing the Quadrajet with a Street Avenger 670 which should get things going a bit better. I am also having the Turbomatic 350 pulled to get the leaky front seal sorted. I have a shift kit to go into it and I just may overhaul the whole darned thing and put a nice stall behind it to help it out. Also, presently the exhaust ends just behind the rear wheels. My system is entirely 2 1/2 (and loud) and I will have piping custom bent so that I can stay at 2 1/2 instead of using the factory 1 7/8 set up...

I am also replacing the original sunvisors and rear view mirror. I am also putting a new heater core into the car and some other nagging stuff will get sorted. I may even source new front and rear bumpers to go with the paint job the car got last summer! Maybe I am just meant to hold onto this thing...

Bye bye for a few weeks...
