All season tires for Kia Sportage
« on: September 17, 2008, 05:40:00 pm »
What is the best all season tire for the Kia Sportage 2006 LX FWD.
This vehicle is not very heavy, and the factory tires are terrible!

I have been looking at the Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread, and the Nokian WRG2.

Am I on the right track?  Does one have advantages over the other.  Noise, etc.

I am looking at the Nokian's for my Forester, they seem pretty good but pricey.

I've been happy with BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A tires. They've however been discontinued and the replacement is the Long Trail T/A Tour tire, which looks much more aero friendly than the previous T/A tire. I've put on 32,000kms and only lost 1/32nd in tread wear. 11/32 more to go!

In general, OEM tires suck.

Thats totally uncalled for a statement like that as it really shows a lot of imaturaty by the poster. I would suggest any tire except the Goodyear brand as I for one have never had any luck or decent service life from them no matter which model I have used.  :)
