Anyone else notice that the OP posted this in September 2008?  I don't think he's reading this...

I think it's for everyone's information but Cord & SlyBri hit the nail on the head... It's not your car to modify and so-called "performance" add-on's are cute but usually detract from the value.

Snowman - Subaru didn't touch you because the replacement Subie was waiting for you to sign for.

Having worked in a Honda store in the mid to late 90's when all manner of Honda's became a magnet for aftermarket junk, I can tell you all the story of a guy who brought in this arguably "beautifully" modified '93 EG Si hatchback with all the fuel injection ripped off and replaced with a short intake and a pair of Delorto carbs. Everything else on the car done nicely. Body kit, suspension, brakes, nice wheels, racing seats, you name it  - all with name brand parts as it were. The kicker was that it had ultra low k's and had never seen snow. Some of the mods aside (brakes & suspension), the client didn't have the fuelie parts for it anymore, and with the cut up harnesses and other various items to get it back to certifiable stock we calculated the trade value as a negative.
Richard - that's my opinion and I stand by it.
