« on: September 05, 2008, 01:17:02 am »
Hello Everyone

I just purchased a new 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback and i was just wondering where i can get the body kits for my car. Without the body kits it doesn't look very good.

This is a pic of a Nissan Versa with Stillen Sport Package.

Heres a bodykit for the versa.. at almost $2400 it ain't cheap.. plus you need to ship it to where you are.. plus you need to paint it..

Instead of buying a versa and putting a body kit on it, why not NOT buy a versa and use the $3500 you were gunna use to buy a bodykit and buy a more upscale car?

I guess I just don't get the "tuner" scene ???

Yeah I am with you there I don't get the tuner scene in that there are too many people in it that don't really know what they are doing.

Half the modded cars I see are bouncing cause their shocks are gone (drop springs or just bad springs) or have peeling paint off their after market body kits from bad paint jobs or just bad driving and hitting stuff.

The body kit is just the first step and if it's like 2500 you would have done better just buying a better car. Since you'll, to complete the L33t look, springs, rims, intake, fart cannon, HID that blinds everyone. Add it all up and you might have been able to get a new Civic Si, GTI or something like that.

I'm not a fan of the versa pre or post body kit but give the poor guy a break.
He likes it and now he wants to make it look better. Could his money have been spent better else where? Maybe but that is besides the fact.

Maybe he wants to have the coolest versa on the block. I mean who wants a regular civic si when you can have a supped up Versa...  8)

I'd rather have the Civic but that is me.

AmirVscas go ahead and pimp your ride and don't listen to these clowns. Just post some pictures after your done.

Yea...heaven forbid if someone wants to do something to their car to express their own personal style or do something to it so that they may enjoy it better....

The MOST I would do to my car would be:

-tint the windows
-Springs (lower it) + upgraded shocks + misc. suspension bits
-Wheels+tires

Nice and simple. Now I WOULD do that, but I am a student and I have no money!

To the OP: Check out some Versa/Nissan forums. I am sure there are many more Nissan tuners that could help you out. :)
Mine: 2004 Acura TSX
Family: 2005 Honda Odyssey EX, 2006 BMW 330i

..and of course after the "don't do it" posts come the obligatory "do it" posts.. hey, its your money bud, do what you like with it. I'm willing to bet that down the line you'll be wishing you hadn't spent ~$3000 on new bumpers for your economy car when you were younger. But what do "clowns" like me know, eh? ::)
