I would suggest changing the wipers for the winter and putting the summer ones back on next spring as they will both last longer this way by having both summer and winter sets. Unless you are having alighment problems I would leave that alone. My truck for example I have driven since 1991 and hasen't had one yet. My tires still are tracking true and the truck is in perfect alognment.  :)

change your wiperblades only if the blades are torn or broken, the most common complaint is that they are streaking. That is because the blades collect and smear the road grime on your windsheild, cheap and eay fix is to keep to winsheild clean windex the glass and also spray some glass cleaner on a rag  and clean the rubber on your blades. you'll be amazed on the crap that comes off and your wipers will work like new again.being a retired mechanic from GM ive leared a few tricks along they way.

The Trico brand of wiper blades used to give you a small package of blade cleaner in the package with every new blade. That was handy but only good for one cleaning unfortunately.  :)
