Used Vehicle Review:
BMW 7 Series, 2002-2008

BMW 7 Series, 2002-2008It's best to avoid 2002 and 2003 BMW 7 Series models "as these have typically proven the most trouble-prone model years for this generation," advises Contributing Editor Chris Chase. "These cars are wonderful to drive, but they are not wonderful to repair."

Whaddya talkin' about?  They get the best autos in the world from GM I thought?

Anyway, a BMW with an automatic is a little like being mid-way through a sex-change operation, isn't it?  (oops, sorry Ovr50!).    Grin Grin Grin

When BMW put a GM automatic in one of their cars ( in the past) they probably were putting the best auto into the car.    Not all BMWs by model or year have had GM automatics and some of the non-GM ones have been somewhat problematical
