It's the fact that you've got tyre covers that is more worrying!

I have tire covers too...but just for my drag tires...since the are so sticky, they pick up ever pebble and generally make a mess in the hatch of the car without covers...

^ yeah exactly, I use to put my tires in the car, 3 front seat 1 trunk, not anymore so it's no big deal but when I bring them in, in the winter it is useful, I have 2 sets of covers.

I wish I had heated covers for auto-x hehe
