Tires for 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX sedan (Purchase made)
« on: July 10, 2008, 11:59:08 am »
Vehicle: 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX sedan, 4 cylinder
Tire size: P205/60R16
I have winter tires on steel rims so the snow performance of the new tires will not be a major concern.

Tire noise/comfort would be my high priority with handling coming in second.

Michelin Harmony seems to be a popular choice.  Any others I should consider?

I think I would also look at the Michelin Hydroedge in that case.  I think the BFG Traction T/A is more handling oriented, but is also a good tire.
Suck, squeeze, bang, blow - who wouldn't love the internal combustion engine?  ;D

I'm definitely considering the Traction T/A, along with the Kumho KR21 and Michelin Harmony.  I'll be making my decision soon, once I factor in the cost for each.

Morty;

Since I have winter tires, which of those three would you recommend for 3 season use?

Nope, no drag radials.  ;)  Car hooks up just fine on a sprayed track.

A local tire shop that sells BF Goodrich, Michelin and Yokohama has suggested the Yokohama Avid TRZ as well.  Does anyone have an opinion on that tire?

I bought the Yokohama Avid TRZ.  So far, so good.  Serenity has returned to the car's interior.   :)

TRZ is a good choice. Well priced and overall will give you quiet ride and good wet performance.
