Leather Seats
« on: June 26, 2008, 08:28:13 pm »
I'm starting to get some deep creases and scratches in my car seats leather.  I've been using leather conditioner over they years, so its not too bad...but bad enought that I should do something about it.  Is there a service or product to restore leather?

I have used Lexol cleaner and conditioner on the leather seats of my last 4 or 5 cars and could not be more pleased.

how old is your car? do you drive alot?  I had this same problem and chalk it up to be normal wear and tear  scratches can be attributed to rivets on your jeans something sharp in your back pocket :-X

You are right, it is mainly from wear and tear.  My car is eight years old, but I was looking for a way to somehow re-condition the seats to nearly new condition.  Someone mentioned a business in Port Alberni, BC that somehow does this to leather furniture and I might check to see if they also do auto leather.

Order the Latherique.  It's like a miracle...and better yet, you can do it yourself...

Don't believe how amazing this stuff is?  Look at some of these before and after pics:

+2 on Lexol. I found the best way to apply is to spray lots of lexol on the leather surface and massage in with your hands (nitrile gloves). Let dry and buff. The seats are super conditioned now. I do this spring/fall.
