What about a thread with info about cruise nights and show and shines? There is supposedly a very good listing of these in 'Old Autos' newspaper, but I can't readily find copies of that.

There are often more shows than people realize not far from them... it's just knowing about them! I'm quite often looking to find a place to cruise the Goat to on a warm evening... and I'm sure that other car nuts would be interested in wandering by to check out cars as well.

So... in the spirit of that, I'll start!

Oakville; Tuesday nights ~6:30-9:00; Hopedale Mall ... enter off of Rebecca by the Beer Store/Zellers, east of 3rd Line; Door prize draw (tickets given to any classic car brought to the show) & a 50/50 draw.

Burlington; Wednesday nights ~6:00-9:00; Mapleview Mall ... I haven't been to this show in a while so I hope someone can fill in the details; this is a huge show, get there early to be in the thick of things - but then be prepared to wait to get out.

edit-- maybe one of the mods could move this to the events forum? thanks!  Burn Out

Great suggestion GTO!

There's a pretty decent one at the GATEWAY to NIAGARA Centre at the Grimsby / Stoney Creek border right on the QEW on Tuesday evenings.

I've been to the Burlington one you've mentioned a few times.  It's one of the best I've seen.  Huge turnout usually, and tremendous variety of vehicles.

Thumbs up
