I disagree entirely. Price of gas will HELP the Flex's sales. People are bailing out of Tahoes and Yukons and Sequoias as "family haulers," and looking for crossovers and minivans to fit the bill.

Not everyone driving a Tahoe or Pilot needs one, but many people that buy those vehicles do need space. With the price of gas rising, those buyers will be looking into vehicles like the Flex to replace their current rides...
IMO the people that buy Tahoes etc. because they love SUVs are stupid enough to keep buying them. Point in case: one of my buddies drives a RAM 1500 that gets abysmal fuel mileage. I tell him he should buy something decent on gas, and he laughs: he would honestly rather drive a big truck and have no money than drive an efficient car and have cash on hand.

Maybe when gas hits $2.00/L he'll clue in...
