I'd rather drive over the border and buy them. You *could* avoid duties, depending on how many people you drive over with.  Grin

I shopped several tires vs. TireTrends, and found the savings about $10-15 on four tires.  Not worth it.  "Free" shipping is $160 in duties/taxes/handling to Canada.  The $40/tire "free shipping" adds up fast.

We bought our Michelin Pilot snow tires at Discount back in December. We saved almost 40% compared to local, Canadian pricing.

I must be missing some of the Canadian DNA.    It would not occur to me to shop across the border except for things that are just not available here retail.

The $160 "pre-paid Customs fee" can make local cheaper.

I'm looking to get 4 Falken ZE-912's and get an "out the door" (doesn't include mounting and balancing) price of $557 where as my local tire guy is quoting me $504 (again, does not include mounting and balancing).

Got my rim/tire package from wheelsnext.com, free shipping - delivered to my door price was $780 - rims, tires, spacers, locks nuts/with key, mouted, balanced.  The cheapest package I could find locally was $1000 taxes in.
Took my wife out to dinner with the money I saved.  Grin
