Demo does sometimes come across as a sort of junior Jack Layton... but he is only 19.

Ouch.  That hurts.  :D

NDP: some of their policies I can admire.  But I wouldn't trust them anywhere near the reigns of power...  not after the fiasco that was the last BC NDP government.  I think the last Saskatchewan NDP was a gong show, too?

Get a cap instead, much more useful

I find caps tacky...  not sure why, since I admit they're dead useful at times.  But I always figure, if you're going to buy a cap for your pickup, why not just buy an SUV to begin with?  *shrug*  Maybe that's the next big thing in pickup design: a retractable, folding metal bed cap...  :D

Honda automatics (Ridgeline / Pilot / Odyssey) scare me.
After having to replace the tranny in our Pilot a couple of months back, I concur.

I have always loved the look of the Titan, but I thought there were engine problems with them. Is senility creeping in or am I remembering correctly?

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the truck. That's a killer price.

There a big difference between a truck with a cap and a SUV, you can throw anything in the back, and it will not be as noise in the cab

Plus the Tonneau cover REALLY restricts what you can put in the bed.

Nice machine Wing.

Consumer Reports shows the trouble areas as the drive system (4wd maybe?); brakes; paint/trim; body integrity and audio systems on earlier ones.  Engine (major and minor) gets above average reliability.

But lots of warranty and a good price, can't be beat.

Rear diffs had problems in '04 that is why I got an '05. Brakes were redone they had a problem, paint and trim seem good to me. :)
