Wing's new wheels ... again
« on: June 04, 2008, 09:08:42 pm »
Well some of you knew it was coming -- I bit the bullet and did it (against Barrie and Snowman's wishes).

Took delivery today -- still need to go to MTO tomorrow to get plates.

'05 Titan Crew SE with Big Tow Package

Love it now -- we'll see how much I love it when I hit the pumps.

And an extra set of wheels... now where to put them ????

Are you gonna trailer the S2000 with this?

That'll be your weekend ride, I guess.

Looks glowingly red.  ;D

Nice looking car truck. :D

There's also 4 shades holders... which are always welcome... :)

I see it's a US model, the money you saved there will be welcome when you finally hit the pumps.

Congrats!

hahaha, I suppose with a super light aluminum trailer and less weight sure, but it will be close to 5000lbs with everything.

Nice truck!

Those Titans are MASSIVE. You did the opposite of what everyone is doing. Buying trucks.  :)

Does it fit in the garage?
That's not the one I looked at for you is it?

It's too long for the garage, I am pretty sure it would fit height wise (although close).  My garage is unfortunately not very deep :( -- but no matter I never put the mazda in the garage anyways.

It is not the same truck, this one is in much better shape, only 60k on it.

If you want to scare yourself silly on Saturday, while the students are in the classroom sesion, I'll let you run it through the slalom  You probably can clear all the cones just by pointing the beast's nose at them.

I am very quickly beginning to realize that things they are against are actually glowing favourable testamonials.   ;)   I think you done good.  I know that Jasonoff's ex, Marta, just loves hers.

Are you keeping the Mazda?  Seems like it's never driven anyway, now it's doubly redundant, I guess.  Why the Titan?  Nice truck, for certain, but I just reread your Ridgeline review the other night and thought it would have been an obvious choice if you were to buy a truck...  heh.

I paid $19k for this truck, Ridgeline's are still in the $25k range and with more miles even US versions which do not have warranty.  This still has powertrain warranty, it JUST passed the 3 year / 60k last week.

It is in good shapes a scratch on the door I need to take care of and it needs a detail on the inside (coffee stains), but for the most part it is very clean.

The Mazda is going back, lease is up July 17th I believe, I may just bring it back next week -- we'll see.  If i do I save on insurance.
