Smart VS a Ferrari?!
« on: May 30, 2008, 04:05:17 pm »
What would win in a race a Smart car or a Ferrari?
The Ferrari doesn't look like it was really trying but the times for the Smart car are pretty good.

In a world where the dead are returning to life, the word "trouble" loses much of its meaning.

13.29 seconds vs 13.40 seconds

...

Did a quick search most auto mags tested the F430 under 12 seconds in the quarter mile, 400M dash.

That is no Stock Smart car, it is modded to a degree. A stock BMW 335i / 135i, Infiniti G37 can run the quarter in the mid to high 13s as well, probably a more compatible line-up partner for that Smart car.

I've seen guys mod awful cars like Yugos and Ladas to the point that they beat some higer end cars.  I'm just surprised these cars don't fall apart on the way to the finish line   Granted, the Smart is screwed together better than those two.
