I would much prefer a vehicle built in Canada. At least I will try to support my fellow Canadian workers which many folks do not. Someday when they aren't buying your products and you are unemployed maybe you can figure out why?
So, what do you drive now? You've been able to buy a "built in Canada" car for many, many years now. Have you?
Let's see, your "Caddy". Where's it built? Canada? NOPE!
Your GMC truck? Probably not. I'll bet it was built in Flint Michigan.
Your dream car ................. Turbo Rolls. Hmmmm. Where's that built? I think it'll have to cross a lot of water to get here and I'm not talking about our Great Lakes, either.
How hard have you "tried" to support your fellow Canadians. Yeah, I'll buy a car manufactured by Canadians IF there is one I'd want and IF it was economically feasible to buy it. Why should I buy a car on the sole reason that it's built in Canada if I don't want it, like it or need it? To do so is a terribly romantic concept and I'm sure it would make any patriot feel warm and cuddly all over, but let's get real. The world doesn't spin like that.
